Kazakhstan plans to establish a National Cryptocurrency Analytics Center on the National Bank’s SupTech supervisory platform, linking digital-asset monitoring with the bank’s existing Anti-Fraud Center. National Bank Chairman Timur Suleimenov announced the plan at a government meeting on the 15th. The system will analyze fiat and cryptocurrency transaction components, individual transfers, wallets and client information. Banks, law-enforcement agencies and licensed digital-asset providers will receive access to verification tools. Digital-asset trading by businesses registered at the Astana International Financial Centre reached $10.6 billion in 2025. The project extends Kazakhstan’s effort to bring crypto activity into regulated channels while targeting unauthorized exchanges and strengthening fraud surveillance. The National Bank’s broader SupTech platform is designed to manage registries, reporting, blockchain analytics and supervisory actions, with the full supervisory cycle planned for migration during the second half of 2026.
