UBS raised its price target for Palantir Technologies to $250 from $220 while maintaining its Buy rating, marking the third upward revision by analyst Karl Keirstead in 2026. The target implies 44% upside from Monday’s closing price. Keirstead said customer and executive discussions at Palantir’s AIPCon event reinforced his view that the company is a leading provider of software that makes frontier artificial-intelligence models useful inside large enterprises. Palantir provides AI-integrated platforms to clients including the Department of Defense, enabling them to analyze massive data sets. The company’s Q2 2026 results included $3.4 billion in bookings, 157% net dollar retention, adjusted gross margins in the mid-80s and adjusted operating margins above 60%. Palantir also raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance by roughly $500 million to $8.15 billion to $8.16 billion. Despite gains of 135% in 2025, 340% in 2024 and 167% in 2023, the shares have fallen nearly 3% this year amid concerns about valuation and a broader summer rotation out of technology stocks. UBS said the stock trades at 51 times expected 2027 free cash flow, but argued that its growth and margin profile supports a premium to peers including Snowflake and CrowdStrike. The bank said investor concerns center on a possible near-term growth peak and competition from model providers in the data-software layer. LSEG data showed 23 of 33 analysts rated the stock Buy or Strong Buy, while the broader consensus as of mid-September 2026 was about $194 with a Moderate Buy rating.
