Investors who purchased or acquired AST SpaceMobile, Inc. securities from March 4, 2025, through July 15, 2026, inclusive, have until November 13, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a securities class action pending in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announced the action, captioned Hunter v. AST SpaceMobile, Inc., No. 26-cv-00378, which charges AST SpaceMobile and certain top executives with violating the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The complaint alleges that defendants understated the company’s rising capital needs and related debt and share-dilution risks, overstated its capital and liquidity position and competitive standing in the satellite direct-to-cellular market, including after the EchoStar Transaction, and failed to disclose slow user adoption in the United States and Japan. The allegations concern an EchoStar Corporation agreement with SpaceX involving AWS-4 and H-block spectrum licenses and a long-term arrangement allowing Boost Mobile subscribers to access Starlink Services’ direct-to-cellular service. Investors may seek lead-plaintiff status through Robbins Geller, although participation in any potential recovery does not depend on serving as lead plaintiff.
