Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) on the Optimism network recorded the largest weekly increase in whale transactions of $100,000 or more, according to cryptocurrency analysis platform Santiment. Such transactions rose 13,950% over seven days, far ahead of Basic Attention Token’s 1,100% increase and Humanity Protocol’s 900% gain. WhiteBIT Token, Sentient, The Sandbox, Virtuals Protocol, Kelp DAO Retaken ETH, Chiliz and Mantle completed the top 10. Santiment said large-investor activity in these projects accelerated significantly from the previous week, while cautioning that higher whale transaction counts alone do not necessarily indicate buying.
