Komainu has joined Arc as a Day 1 mainnet launch partner, providing institutional-grade custody support for the open Layer 1 network designed for programmable money and real-world financial applications. The addition expands Arc's institutional infrastructure as Kraken enables USDC deposits and withdrawals on the network and KuCoin supports direct USDC transfers to and from Arc. Arc uses USDC as its initial gas asset and operates with a permissioned validator set of known institutional participants, while seeking to support settlement, payments, tokenized assets, lending, trading and other onchain financial workflows. Arc's trading volume has not been reported, and its adoption will depend on liquidity, application development and transaction activity.
