Polymarket has migrated its primary blockchain indexing infrastructure to a self-developed system built in Rust with the open-source tool rindexer. The system can make on-chain events visible up to 14 blocks, or approximately 28 seconds, faster than the previous setup, and completes indexing within 0 to 10 milliseconds after block broadcasts. The upgrade accelerates updates to trades, positions and balances. Goldsky will remain Polymarket’s backup data solution, while reorganization tracking is designed to reduce data risks associated with blockchain reorganizations.
