BitMart has opened a formal User Engagement Portal for customers to submit withdrawal enquiries, general feedback and potential investor or restructuring proposals as it reviews its position with Alvarez & Marsal and legal advisers. The portal is not a withdrawal or claims-processing system: submitting a ticket does not release funds, change account or asset status, or provide an update on recovery timelines, reserves or refunds. Users need only an email address and must verify submissions through support@bitmart.zendesk.com; BitMart said the feedback will feed directly into its review. The exchange has not published the proof-of-reserves report it promised on May 23. It has self-reported about $5.36 million in reserves, mostly in BMX, compared with historical daily volume of about $272.6 million. The portal follows BitMart’s July 26 wind-down announcement and Aug. 26 end to trading. The company later said it was considering creditor distributions and a phased restart, hired White & Case as restructuring counsel, and reiterated plans to appoint an independent third party to oversee operations and hold assets during the review. Echo Base has formed a committee of claimholders and retained legal advisers after an unanswered rescue offer of up to $10 million.
