Samsung Asset Management said on the 16th that it released "Mastering ETFs in One Week," a free 100-page workbook designed to teach exchange-traded fund (ETF) investing through 10-minute daily sessions over one week. The guide compiles 30 frequently asked investor questions and uses quizzes and practice problems to reinforce lessons across seven modules, from ETF structure and trading to taxes, strategy and portfolio preparation. The company said the course is intended to help investors independently build portfolios suited to their risk profiles. At an online briefing, Samsung Asset Management executives advised investors to check tracking error, liquidity-provider quotes and indicative net asset value before trading. They also said South Korea's stock market is in historically deep undervaluation territory, with its forward 12-month price-to-earnings ratio below 5 times versus approximately 20 times in the United States, and recommended long-term dollar-cost averaging into benchmark indexes rather than short-term trading. Suggested portfolio tools included monthly-dividend products, long-term growth themes and bond ETFs.
