Deutsche Bank plans to begin providing digital-asset custody services to institutional and corporate clients by the end of the year, subject to completing applicable regulatory procedures. The Frankfurt-based bank will initially target European asset managers, hedge funds and other institutional investors. The service is set to support Bitcoin, Ether and stablecoins including USDC, EURC and EURAU, and Deutsche Bank has previously said it intends later to add tokenized financial instruments. The announcement clarifies that the offering remains in development, contrasting with an earlier report that described it as already launched and named Bitpanda Technology Solutions as a technology partner.
