Bitcoin traded above $76,000 after recovering from a sharp drop to a monthly low of $75,000 following the US Senate's failed procedural vote on the CLARITY Act and volatile trading around the Federal Reserve's first rate increase in three years. The Federal Open Market Committee approved the increase unanimously, 12-0. US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $295.9 million in net outflows on Sept. 16, bringing withdrawals over two sessions to $746.3 million, even as Bitcoin recovered toward $76,500. Bitcoin's market capitalization stood at $1.530 trillion and its market share of the cryptocurrency market was 58.7%, according to CoinMarketCap. Altcoins advanced broadly, with Solana nearing $100 and ZEC rising more than 14% to above $1,350.
