Binance has opened Capital Connect to eligible individual investors for the first time, extending its marketplace for professionally managed strategies beyond institutional users and professional trading teams. KYC-verified individuals can qualify through Binance VIP 3 status, at least $1 million held on Binance, or proof of an equivalent external balance approved by the exchange; access remains restricted to permitted jurisdictions. The marketplace listed 212 portfolios managed by 77 professional trading teams in September 2026, compared with 106 portfolios and 35 teams in May. Investors can compare standardized performance data and allocate through Portfolio Accounts, while teams execute strategies without establishing separate fund vehicles. Binance retains custody of assets, which can move only between a Portfolio Account and designated trading sub-accounts. The platform, initially focused on crypto strategies, now includes portfolios incorporating traditional financial instruments.
