SpaceX shares rose 1.5% to $153.08 in early Thursday trading after gaining 5.2% in the previous session, as investors weighed the planned September 22, 2026, Starship test, higher artificial-intelligence revenue forecasts and institutional buying. The mission would be Starship’s first attempt at orbital insertion and is expected to deploy next-generation Starlink V3 satellites. Analysts raised projected SpaceX AI revenue to $67 billion in 2027 from $38 billion in June and to $275 billion in 2030 from approximately $110 billion. SpaceX ended the second quarter with 1.4 gigawatts of AI computing infrastructure and targets as much as 10 gigawatts by year-end 2027. Risks include a negative price-to-earnings ratio, potential share-supply pressure and the experimental nature of Starship’s program. Separately, Impulse Space expanded its Series D financing to $808 million.
