Investors in Aardvark Therapeutics face an Oct. 13, 2026, deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a proposed securities class action highlighted by Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP. The firm’s notice covers investors who bought Aardvark common stock in or traceable to the company’s Feb. 13, 2025, initial public offering and those who purchased Aardvark securities between Feb. 13, 2025, and May 14, 2026. Earlier notices cited a class period beginning Feb. 10, 2025. The allegations concern ARD-101, an investigational small-molecule therapy targeting bitter taste receptors for hyperphagia associated with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Hagens Berman says Aardvark failed to disclose that the drug was less safe than represented, including reversible cardiac observations such as QRS prolongation at above-target doses, and consequently overstated the prospects of the Phase 3 HERO trial and open-label extension. Aardvark voluntarily paused the HERO trial on Feb. 27, 2026, after safety monitoring in healthy volunteers identified reversible cardiac observations, sending its stock down more than 56%, according to the notice. On May 14, the FDA placed a full clinical hold on the ARD-101 investigational new drug application, halting studies under the application; the stock fell another 32.1%. Investors may seek lead-plaintiff status, retain counsel or take no action and remain absent members of the proposed class.
