Crypto venture investors deployed $5.683 billion across 384 private crypto and blockchain deals in the second quarter of 2026, Galaxy Research reported, as capital rose 31% from the prior quarter and deal count increased 10%. Later-stage companies received 78% of investment, while pre-seed rounds represented 21% of transactions. Trading, exchange, investing and lending startups attracted $3.523 billion across 51 deals, nearly three-fifths of quarterly capital, and U.S.-headquartered companies received 73.5% of funding. Five crypto-focused venture funds raised roughly $3.9 billion, the fewest new funds since the third quarter of 2019. First-half investment reached $10.018 billion across 744 deals; maintaining that pace would put full-year funding near $20.037 billion, slightly below 2025's $20.3 billion.
