TradingView launched a public beta of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server on September 16, allowing subscribers on its Essential tier and above to connect AI assistants such as Anthropic’s Claude directly to their accounts. Through a single MCP server URL and OAuth 2.1 authentication, users can query market data in natural language, review company fundamentals, news and regulatory filings, run screeners, analyze charts, manage watchlists and create alerts. Existing workflows include reviewing support and resistance, identifying bullish RSI divergence, assessing ticker trends and chart patterns, tracking major news movers and setting watchlist-level alerts. The beta imposes a rate limit of roughly 100 tool calls per minute, daily caps may apply, and market data is delayed, limiting its use for time-sensitive trading. TradingView said the service extends its AI strategy beyond the in-platform AI Chart Copilot introduced in April 2026 and is seeking community feedback through an official Reddit thread.
