Digital asset markets showed sharply divergent performance across Tuesday’s trading sessions. Bitcoin traded at $75,959.42 in the evening, up 0.49%, while Ethereum rose 0.26% to $2,403.95, according to market data cited in a Business Upturn report. Earlier, Bitcoin had fallen as much as 3.26% to $75,417.86 and Ethereum declined 4.80% to $2,393.22, based on CoinMarketCap data. Solana and Avalanche led the evening recovery among major altcoins, rising 1.52% to $98.35 and 1.48% to $7.38, respectively. Cortex was the strongest gainer, surging 124.8% to $0.03274, while Synapse gained 123.6% to $0.1795. Their relatively limited liquidity, particularly Cortex’s $1.81 million in 24-hour volume, can magnify price movements. Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Arbitrum recorded the strongest daytime gain at 11.75%, while Injective posted the steepest decline at 12.87%. The uneven performance reflects intraday volatility, shifting liquidity and continued speculative activity, though analysts caution that thinly traded tokens can suffer outsized losses when momentum reverses.
