U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs recorded combined net outflows of about $520 million on Sept. 16, with Bitcoin funds losing $295.98 million and Ether funds shedding $224.11 million. BlackRock's IBIT was a major contributor to Bitcoin redemptions, while the withdrawals followed $450.33 million of Bitcoin ETF outflows on Sept. 15. The Federal Reserve raised its target range by 25 basis points to 3.75%-4.00% during the period, while a Senate procedural vote also blocked the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act from advancing to debate. In contrast, XRP ETFs attracted $3.50 million, led by a Franklin Templeton product, and Solana ETFs drew about $837,000. Despite the daily withdrawals, cumulative Bitcoin ETF net inflows remained near $54.6 billion and total assets stood around $95.19 billion, underscoring the scale of regulated spot crypto exposure.
