Tesla shares fell about 2% during the week but rose 1.2% to $362.21 in early Thursday trading as investors weighed Waymo’s expanding robotaxi operations, Tesla’s Cybercab regulatory review and Goldman Sachs’ reduced delivery forecast. Goldman analyst Mark Delaney expects approximately 435,000 third-quarter deliveries, below the 456,000 consensus, and maintains a Hold rating with a $360 price objective. Waymo operates more than 4,000 vehicles across 15 U.S. cities, completes over 500,000 paid rides weekly and recently expanded to Las Vegas, while Tesla’s Cybercab remains limited to selected parts of Austin. Tesla must answer 21 National Highway Traffic Safety Administration questions under oath by September 30. Investors are increasingly focusing on Tesla’s artificial-intelligence businesses, including robotaxis, humanoid robots and AI5 processors, alongside upcoming Vietnam operations and an October 1 Roadster unveiling.
