Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang used Salesforce’s Dreamforce conference to promote the economics of continued AI-infrastructure investment, while investor Ross Gerber and Jim Cramer reiterated bullish views on Nvidia after a lighthearted exchange with Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff. Huang said building one gigawatt of Nvidia AI-factory capacity costs $50 billion to $60 billion and can generate roughly $50 billion in annual rental revenue. He also said token-generation demand had increased 25-fold in less than a year, open models’ share of generated tokens had risen from nearly 30% to almost 70%, and Grace Blackwell GPUs were renting for about $16 per GPU hour versus $5 on some year-old contracts. Nvidia reported fiscal second-quarter revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year over year, including Data Center revenue of $89 billion, up 117%. It forecast fiscal third-quarter revenue of $108 billion, plus or minus 2%, and gross margin of about 74%. Salesforce unveiled Koa, its first CRM reasoning model for Agentforce, built on Nvidia Nemotron 3 Super and operated within Salesforce infrastructure. Cramer said investors should own Nvidia rather than trade it, while acknowledging that the valuation depends on fiscal 2028 earnings materializing and remains vulnerable to a sustained slowdown in AI spending.
