Tiziana Life Sciences signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs, and the Foundation for Neurologic Diseases to explore a clinical trial combining intranasal foralumab with existing anti-CD20 therapy in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis who respond poorly to anti-CD20 treatment alone. The proposed approach is aimed at patients who may have untreated neuroinflammation. Tiziana said intranasal foralumab reduced neuroinflammation in three clinical studies to date. The agreement was signed by CEO Ivor Elrifi at the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit in Riyadh on September 16, 2026. Tiziana's shares rose 21.23% to $0.93 at the time of publication. The initiative adds an RRMS program to the company's ongoing non-active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis program, whose Phase 2 trial remains blinded with results expected in October. Fourteen patients treated through an Expanded Access Program showed either disease improvement or stability within six months, Tiziana said.
