Crusoe raised $3.9 billion in a Series F round that valued the AI infrastructure company at $30.9 billion. Robinhood Ventures Fund I, listed as NYSE:RVI, purchased about $25 million of preferred stock in the financing, which closed on Aug. 31. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Mubadala Capital and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Founders Fund, GIC, Nvidia, Qatar Investment Authority, Radical Ventures and TPG. Crusoe plans to fund existing projects, including its large Abilene, Texas, site used by OpenAI, and manufacture truck-transportable Spark modular data centers. Its vertically integrated model combines energy development, AI data centers and cloud services, while its business leases space to customers supplying their own GPUs, rents company-owned GPUs and sells inference capacity. Crusoe has more than $140 billion in aggregate contracted value and over 6 gigawatts of contracted capacity, with 1 gigawatt operational, and has held early-stage IPO discussions with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
