BitForex founder Garrett Jin, who has faced allegations of profiting from insider trading ahead of last October’s record forced-liquidation event, withdrew 35,001 ETH worth about $85 million from Binance on Sept. 17 and transferred it to Hyperliquid, according to Lookonchain. The address labeled "Garrett Jin / @GarrettBullish" moved the entire amount to the crypto derivatives platform. Lookonchain said the ETH could be sold to replenish margin, the collateral supporting leveraged trades, or used to support the address’s ZEC short position, a bet that ZEC will decline.
