Pyth Network has added Anthropic and OpenAI as its first pre-IPO private-company Pyth Indices, which went live on September 17, 2026, through Pyth Terminal. The Pyth.Index.ANTHROPIC/USD and Pyth.Index.OPENAI/USD feeds are informational, indicative indicators derived from limited secondary-market and other third-party data. They are not public stock prices, financing valuations, fair-value appraisals or tradable security prices. The indices aggregate available signals into company-level indicators that update continuously around the clock, including weekends and market holidays. Access requires separate commercial terms from Pyth Pro, with institutional buyers, exchanges, asset managers and applications able to request access through dedicated channels. Anthropic raised a Series H in May 2026 at a $965 billion post-money valuation and filed a confidential S-1 with the SEC in June, selecting Nasdaq. OpenAI completed a major financing round in March at an $852 billion post-money valuation and also filed a confidential S-1 in June, while indicating it would not go public in 2026. The launch follows Pyth’s expansion into 24/7 commodity and equity indices, including WTI, Brent, Amazon, Meta, Palantir and Samsung. It also comes as the SEC granted temporary conditional exemptive relief to Tokenized Securities Venues and as Pyth expands its role in Solana’s tokenized-securities ecosystem. Pyth said more than 95% of existing onchain real-world-asset perpetual volume relies on its data. Pyth Pro separately reported $10.4 million in annualized recurring revenue in August 2026, up 39% from July. PYTH is Pyth Network’s native token.
