Shinhan Asset Management’s SOL US AI Software ETF recorded a 31.88% return over six months through the 17th, making it the best-performing South Korea-listed ETF focused on US AI software across the three-month, six-month, year-to-date and one-year periods, according to Korea Exchange data. The three-month return was 12.24%. Cybersecurity holdings drove the gains, with CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet rising 126.85%, 121.68% and 107.53%, respectively, over six months. The rally reflects a broader shift in AI investment from semiconductor infrastructure toward software deployment, supported by subscription-based cash flows and rising cybersecurity spending as AI agents gain greater autonomy and access to systems. Easing concern over the so-called "SaaSpocalypse" and Snowflake’s improved net revenue retention and large-scale partnership with Amazon Web Services also strengthened expectations for AI monetization. The existing topic also records broader cybersecurity gains, technical views on Zscaler, and retail demand for Shinhan’s SOL US Dividend Dow Jones ETF.
