Crypto.com Derivatives North America, operating the North American Derivatives Exchange known as Nadex, registered with the SEC to offer security futures. Nadex filed Form 1-N on September 14, and the registration became effective that day; the SEC formally acknowledged receipt on September 16. The notice registration does not approve any specific contract or confirm that trading has begun. Nadex’s filing names cash-settled futures tied to Apple, Advanced Micro Devices, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta Platforms, Microsoft, Micron Technology, Nvidia, Tesla and privately held SpaceX. The exchange must submit separate listing standards and contract terms before any product can launch. CEO Kris Marszalek said Crypto.com is also working with the SEC and CFTC on single-stock perpetual futures, which do not expire. Coinbase, Kalshi and CME are pursuing similar stock-linked futures initiatives. Nadex remains a CFTC-regulated designated contract market and clearing organization, with direct access limited to qualified members and customer-facing firms required to hold both futures commission merchant and broker-dealer registrations.
