Hanwha’s financial affiliates expanded cooperation with Abu Dhabi through agreements on digital finance, stablecoins, cross-border payments, remittances and digital-asset infrastructure at the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum Seoul on Sept. 16. Hanwha Life signed a partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office to develop a digital-finance ecosystem, connect South Korean and Abu Dhabi financial and capital markets, and advance digital banking. Hanwha Asset Management formed a three-way stablecoin and financial-infrastructure partnership with Abu Dhabi Global Market and Hana Financial Group to expand cross-border payment and remittance solutions. Hanwha Financial affiliates also agreed with ADGM to partner for Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2026, as the group seeks to expand its global-market presence.
