Binance will conduct an infrastructure wallet upgrade on Sept. 22, temporarily suspending deposits and withdrawals for about an hour while leaving token trading unaffected. Services are expected to resume once the system is stable. The exchange has carried out similar network-specific maintenance on Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as ecosystems including Cardano, BNB Chain and Tron, with previous interruptions lasting minutes to a few hours and no reported major issues or user complaints. Binance also scheduled the removal of specified margin and spot trading pairs for Sept. 18, a move that caused little volatility in the affected tokens. The exchange separately warned users about phishing messages impersonating Binance and said it would never ask them to tap a text-message link to verify or secure an account.
