Taboola has agreed to acquire finance-focused adtech company Dianomi for £19 million, or approximately $25.4 million, in cash, with the transaction potentially reaching £27 million, or $36.1 million, if performance conditions are met. The upfront valuation represents about a 68% premium to Dianomi’s share price at Thursday’s close. The deal would give Taboola relationships with publishers including CNN Business, The Wall Street Journal and Reuters, while adding advertisers such as Bank of America, Charles Schwab and Invesco to its network. Dianomi’s revenue fell 2% last year to £27.4 million, or about $36.6 million, amid lower publisher traffic and currency effects. Taboola is expanding beyond its traditional sponsored-content widgets through its Realize platform, conversational ad units and partnerships spanning NBC News, Apple News, Apple Stocks and Samsung News. The acquisition remains subject to regulatory and Dianomi shareholder approval and is expected to close before the end of 2026.
