Binance plans to introduce foreign-exchange perpetual futures through its TradFi Perpetual category, starting with USDBRLUSDT, a contract tracking the U.S. dollar against the Brazilian real. Trading is scheduled to begin at 14:00 UTC on September 21, 2026, or 11 p.m. Korea time, with continuous access, no expiry or rollover, USDT margin and settlement, and leverage of up to 100x. The contract has a minimum trade size of 0.01 USDBRL, a minimum notional value of 5 USDT and a tick size of 0.0001. During regular FX hours, Binance will update a third-party weighted index every second; on weekends and public holidays, it will use an orderbook-based exponentially weighted moving average. Funding occurs every eight hours, with a zero interest-rate component and a funding-rate cap of plus or minus 0.375%. The launch expands Binance's perpetual-futures offering beyond crypto into currencies, commodities and equities, although availability remains subject to regional restrictions and Binance does not serve U.S. users through Binance.com.
