Binance rolled out seven USDT-margined perpetual contracts tied to US equities on September 18, with staggered launches beginning at 09:00 UTC. The contracts cover UiPath (PATHUSDT), AMC Entertainment (AMCUSDT), Cypherpunk Technologies (CYPHUSDT), Arista Networks (ANETUSDT), Hut 8 (HUTUSDT), APLDUSDT and AGPUUSDT. Each offers up to 20x leverage, round-the-clock trading and a minimum notional value of 5 USDT. The products are perpetual futures rather than tokenized stocks, using eight-hour funding payments capped at plus or minus 2% to keep prices aligned with underlying equities. The launch adds to earlier crypto-equity derivatives such as MicroStrategy and Coinbase contracts. Gate also announced a similar seven-product stock-contract section for September 18, alongside trading bots and copy trading, but its listed products differed from Binance's lineup and included leveraged ETF products. Binance restricts US-based traders from accessing the equity-linked contracts, amid longstanding regulatory concerns over leveraged US-equity exposure offered by offshore crypto platforms.
