Arbitrum, a leading Ethereum layer-2 network (scaling system built on Ethereum), is regaining usage as real-world assets, or RWAs (blockchain representations of real-world assets), drive trading activity. Its native ARB token rose more than 167% over the past month to above $0.20, while spot volumes and futures open interest recovered. Tokenized assets on Arbitrum reached more than $800 million under management, and the network's on-chain assets increased from $9.38 billion to $11.18 billion. With 5,760 tokenized assets as of September, Arbitrum has developed a significant RWA and DeFi (decentralized financial services) ecosystem focused on funds, bonds, equities and commodities. Standard Chartered has set a bullish target of at least $0.50 for ARB by the end of 2026, although near-term liquidations could pull the token lower before any further advance.
