Chinese automation equipment maker RoboTechnik Intelligent Technology plans to launch a Hong Kong listing on September 21, seeking to raise about $800 million. The company plans to price the offering on September 24 and begin trading on September 29, although the size and timetable could change with market conditions. RoboTechnik, which is listed in Shenzhen and based in Suzhou, makes equipment for photovoltaic cell manufacturing and assembly and testing systems for silicon photonics devices used in optical interconnects for data centers and artificial intelligence infrastructure. Its draft prospectus says the second listing is intended to support overseas expansion and strengthen its position in those equipment markets. Proceeds are earmarked for research and development, factory capacity, global sales and service operations, possible acquisitions and working capital. RoboTechnik reported first-half 2026 net profit of 6.6 million yuan ($985,515.90), reversing a loss of 33.3 million yuan a year earlier, while revenue rose 144.8% to 608.5 million yuan. Its Shenzhen shares have gained 166% year-to-date, giving the company a market capitalization of $15.5 billion. Huatai International, Citigroup and Orient Securities, or DFZQ, are the joint sponsors.
