Lucid Group Inc. secured a contract with European shared-mobility company Bolt to supply at least 25,000 autonomous vehicles, sending its shares 6% higher. Bolt plans to deploy the fully autonomous Lucid vehicles across multiple European cities, using Lucid’s upcoming midsize platform and Nvidia’s Hyperion architecture for Level 4 operations. The agreement expands Lucid’s commercial mobility efforts beyond its existing U.S. robotaxi testing partnership with Uber and Nuro. The deal comes as Lucid’s vehicle deliveries remain limited, with 3,953 units delivered in the second quarter. Investor sentiment had also improved after CEO Silvio Napoli said Lucid completed an operational review with restructuring adviser AlixPartners, which identified $1.4 billion in targeted 2026 cash-flow improvements through lower inventory, reduced capital spending and tighter operating costs. Earlier Friday premarket data showed the shares up 0.47% at $4.30, according to Benzinga Pro.
