InPost said 89.81% of its shares were tendered in a €7.8 billion all-cash takeover by a consortium led by FedEx and Advent International. The €15.60-per-share offer exceeded the 80% minimum acceptance threshold and will pave the way for a delisting from Euronext Amsterdam. InPost will remain a standalone company under Chief Executive Officer Rafal Brzoska, with its brand, management team and strategy preserved. Founded after Brzoska introduced automated parcel lockers in Poland, the company now operates about 70,000 machines across nine European countries and is expanding by more than 20,000 annually. FedEx will gain access to the network as it seeks to strengthen its European position against DHL and DPD.
