Singapore-regulated payments company Dtcpay has completed a $25 million Series A led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India and further anchored by Japanese financial conglomerate SBI Group. The round also included Genedant Capital and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek. An earlier account described an initial $10 million tranche as led by Vertex in March, while the latest account places Vertex’s leadership in April. Dtcpay said the investment will support its effort to make stablecoin payments more accessible alongside traditional financial services, expand merchant and payment infrastructure, and enter additional regulated markets. Its Visa card enables spending in fiat and stablecoins at more than 150 million merchant locations worldwide. Dtcpay previously supported fiat and cryptocurrency payments but phased out Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in 2024 in favor of stablecoin-only transactions. The company is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and holds an Electronic Money Institution license in Luxembourg, with additional licenses and registrations in Hong Kong, Australia, the United States and Canada.
