  • Binance Futures will list the USDBRLUSDT foreign-exchange perpetual contract.
  • The contract supports 100x leverage, 0.01 USDBRL minimum trades and 5 USDT minimum notional.
  • Binance will use an order-book EWMA during weekends and public holidays.

Binance Futures will list its first foreign-exchange perpetual contract, USDBRLUSDT, on September 21 at 14:00 UTC. The contract tracks the U.S. dollar against Brazil’s real, settles in USDT and supports up to 100x leverage, 24/7 trading and Binance’s Multi-Assets Mode. It will have a 0.01 USDBRL minimum trade amount, a 5 USDT minimum notional, a 0.0001 tick size and funding settlements every eight hours, with the funding rate capped at plus or minus 0.375% and the interest component set at zero. Binance will update its price index every second during regular FX-market hours using weighted quotes from third-party providers. During weekends and public holidays, it will use an order-book-based EWMA, or exponentially weighted moving average, alongside multiple price sources, mark-price mechanisms and deviation controls. The launch expands Binance’s TradFi perpetual offerings beyond commodities and equities, following increased weekend activity in existing products. Binance Research said gold perpetuals correctly indicated the direction of Monday futures-market gaps about 89% of the time through April, while selected equity perpetuals accounted for most combined weekend volume across five venues in September. The contract will be available on Binance’s web platform, mobile app and API under the TradFi category.
