AVAX rose 19.7% in 24 hours to $9.76 on September 19, 2026, reaching $9.81 as activity around tokenization on the Avalanche network increased. CoinGecko data at 18:30 UTC showed a 24-hour range of $8.13 to $9.81, market capitalization of $4.314 billion, token value of $4.312 billion, fully diluted valuation of $4.573 billion and trading volume of $852.948 million. New York Life Investment Management, which manages $807 billion in assets, announced on September 17 that it would bring its first tokenized fund to Avalanche through Centrifuge. The HYB fund places the firm’s U.S. High Yield Corporate Bond Strategy on-chain, giving eligible investors access to an actively managed portfolio of high-yield U.S. corporate bonds directly on Avalanche. Aave is separately developing a lending market for tokenized real-world assets on Avalanche as part of its V4 deployment, with Tether’s USAT planned as the initial dollar liquidity asset. The proposed market would allow eligible tokenized financial assets to serve as collateral for stablecoin borrowing, although Aave has not disclosed which assets would qualify or when it could launch. AVAX also benefited from a broader cryptocurrency market rally, with total market capitalization rising more than 4% to approximately $2.88 trillion. Bitcoin climbed above $80,000 to $81,383, while inflows returned to U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs. Avalanche also said its network powers a document vault in the United Arab Emirates’ national digital identity platform, but the federal telecommunications regulator and Dubai-based advisory firm named in the announcement have not publicly confirmed the arrangement, whose scope and production status remain undisclosed.
