NEAR Intents, an intent-based cross-chain execution layer built on NEAR Protocol, has reached about $169 million in total value locked across 26 blockchain networks, according to DefiLlama data. TVL increased 77.2% over the past 30 days. NEAR accounts for roughly 52% of deposits, or approximately $87.23 million, while Ethereum holds about $45.89 million; other capital is distributed among networks including Tron, Bitcoin and BSC. DefiLlama recorded $167.55 million, while Dune Analytics reported approximately $169.05 million on September 16, reflecting differences in timing and methodology. Users specify a desired destination token and amount, after which competing solvers determine how to execute the transaction across chains without requiring users to select bridges or manage multiple gas fees. NEAR Intents supports public and confidential transaction modes, with the latter designed to keep cross-chain transfer details private on-chain. The protocol generated approximately $5.87 million in fees over the trailing 30-day period, including $1.29 million in protocol revenue, while cumulative transaction volume has reached tens of billions of dollars. Wallet and aggregator integrations have broadened distribution, and support for 26 chains adds routing options for solvers while also increasing exposure to bridge vulnerabilities, smart-contract risks and chain-specific issues.
