Hilton has received nearly 15,000 applications for its 2027 early-career cohort as artificial intelligence makes it easier for candidates to tailor resumes and cover letters and apply for more roles. The company’s 2026 Launch program drew 5,000 applications for 20 positions, a 0.4% acceptance rate, while about 12,000 candidates competed for 72 internship openings, with 0.6% selected. Hilton chief human resources officer Laura Fuentes said AI has reduced friction for applicants but created a much larger pipeline for recruiters to manage. She advised candidates to apply selectively and demonstrate genuine interest during interviews. The two-year Launch program combines corporate rotations with hands-on hotel operations experience and offers successful participants full-time employment.
