Strive bought 1,355 Bitcoin for $107.7 million at an average price of $79,475 per coin, lifting its holdings to 26,355 BTC. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Matt Cole disclosed the purchase on X on Sept. 21. The company has announced purchases on Mondays as part of a strategy to accumulate Bitcoin using non-dilutive preferred equity financing rather than traditional debt. Strive also raised $21.2 million as warrant exercises began the previous week, while perpetual preferred stock SATA represented 57.7% of its total funding. The acquisition followed Cole’s earlier orange-dot post after Strive’s holdings exceeded 25,000 Bitcoin.
