XRP Ledger’s Batch V1.1 amendment has entered its two-week activation window after 30 of 35 tracked validators supported it, exceeding the 80% threshold. The countdown began on September 15 at 14:06:41 UTC, putting activation no earlier than September 29 at the same time if support remains at or above 80%. RippleX engineering lead Ayo Akinyele said asset managers and other commercial projects are preparing to use the feature. Batch V1.1 can package up to eight transactions into one all-or-nothing operation, supporting delivery-versus-payment settlement and allowing exchanges, wallets and marketplaces to combine service fees with customer payments. The corrected release replaced Batch V1.0, which was withdrawn in February after a critical signature-validation vulnerability was found; it had not activated and caused no loss of funds. The fix was included in xrpld 3.3.0, released on August 6.
