Kolon Benit to build next-generation disclosure system for Philippine Stock Exchange

  • Kolon Benit will develop the Philippine Stock Exchange’s next-generation electronic disclosure system.
  • Phase 1 will upgrade PSE EDGE across submission, review, approval, inquiry and data distribution.
  • Phase 2 will add an XBRL-based system integrated with the first phase.

Kolon Benit announced on September 21 that it will develop the next-generation electronic disclosure system for the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), upgrading the existing PSE EDGE platform to current IT standards. Korea Exchange (KRX) will oversee the project, while Kolon Benit will build the disclosure submission, management and investor-portal functions. Phase 1 will improve system stability and modernize submission, review, approval, inquiry and data-distribution processes, including responsive web design, real-time processing, high-speed search and large-capacity data handling. Phase 2 will add an XBRL-based disclosure system and integrate it with the first phase. Kolon Benit’s project team includes personnel who worked on the original PSE system in 2013–2014, as well as domestic systems including DART, KIND and mKIND. The company is also continuing securities-market system projects in Vietnam for the Hanoi Stock Exchange and Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, including a recently launched project supporting the transfer of HNX-listed stocks to HoSE.
