Investors who purchased UWM Holdings Corporation securities between March 9, 2026 and August 5, 2026 have until October 13, 2026 to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a proposed securities class action. The lawsuit, Bond v. UWM Holdings Corporation, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, alleges that UWM and certain executives misled investors over a major hedge on mortgage servicing rights taken in connection with its planned acquisition of Two Harbors Investment Corp. The complaint says UWM's interest-rate derivatives loss was nearly $603.2 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2026, contributing to a $451.9 million net loss, after which UWM shares fell nearly 35% on August 6. UWM Chief Executive Officer Mathew Ishbia said on the earnings call that the company had been over-hedged while protecting against the Two Harbors transaction. The allegations have not been proven, and no class has been certified.
