Essity CFO and Executive Vice President Fredrik Rystedt has told the company he plans to retire during 2027 after more than nine years in both roles. Essity will begin appointing his successor immediately, but Rystedt will remain in his current position until the appointment and an orderly handover are complete. President and CEO Ulrika Kolsrud credited Rystedt with strengthening Essity's value creation and financial position, while Rystedt said he would continue contributing fully during the transition. Essity said the disclosure was required under the EU Market Abuse Regulation and was submitted for publication at 07:55 CET on September 21, 2026.
