Essity CFO and Executive Vice President Fredrik Rystedt has informed the company of his wish to retire during 2027 after more than nine years in the role. Essity will immediately begin appointing his successor, while Rystedt remains in his current position until a successor is appointed and an orderly handover is completed. President and CEO Ulrika Kolsrud credited him with strengthening Essity's financial position and supporting value creation, while Rystedt said he would continue contributing fully during the transition.
