LINE NEXT and Com2uS Holdings have formed a strategic partnership to support game-item marketplaces for Com2uS Holdings’ major titles through NEXT Market, LINE NEXT’s global game-item trading platform. The initial games are Ares, a stylish action role-playing game, and Project V, the working title of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game in development. The companies plan to integrate NEXT Market into additional games over time, introduce dedicated in-game item products, and cooperate on global marketing to reach more overseas users. Ares was launched in global markets this month and was featured by major app marketplaces in countries including the US and Thailand, supported by its real-time "Suit Change" system and graphics. LINE NEXT Chief Executive Officer Ko Young-soo said the partnership would bring NEXT Market’s game-item trading environment to more users and that the company would continue expanding cooperation with global games.
