Hyperliquid’s monthly active perpetual traders reached approximately 291,500 to 291,900, surpassing the previous record of 258,123 set in June. The latest figure represents roughly a 13% increase and more than 60,000 additional traders compared with about 230,000 in March. Token Terminal data shows monthly active addresses across the broader ecosystem at roughly 470,000 to 480,000, indicating that perpetual futures traders account for well over half of activity. Growth has been supported by HIP-3 markets offering perpetual contracts linked to real-world assets such as oil and equities, with 24/7 access that extends beyond traditional market hours. Hyperliquid also uses trading fees to fund HYPE token buybacks and burns. The platform’s activity now places it among the leading perpetual futures decentralized exchanges, although its synthetic real-world asset offerings could draw increased regulatory scrutiny. The new monthly perpetual-trader record is a different measure from the previously reported Artemis record of 283.23K daily active users, which surpassed interim highs recorded in March and July.
