CEER unveiled its first two fully electric EXOBOT models, a premium sedan and SUV, in Saudi Arabia on Sept. 21, 2026. Sales are scheduled to begin in the kingdom in early 2027, followed by five mainstream models between 2028 and 2030, completing a planned seven-model portfolio. The lineup will also include plug-in hybrids and combustion-engine vehicles as CEER responds to changing market demand. The company is a joint venture between Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and Taiwan's Foxconn. Its EXOBOT vehicles use upward-opening gullwing doors and pillarless side structures supported by high-strength materials. Foxconn supplied the electrical architecture and BMW provided engineering, while Lear, Shin Young, Benteler and Fangxin have established Saudi factories to support the program. CEER plans to expand into surrounding markets in 2028 and later across the Middle East and North Africa, while Saudi Arabia seeks to build a domestic automotive industry and reduce dependence on oil.
