Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov will appear in three sessions at Sibos 2026, the annual SWIFT-run conference described as the financial industry’s largest gathering. The event will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from September 28 through October 1 under the theme "Digital finance for AI-driven economies." Nazarov’s appearances will cover global digital asset markets, the intersection of programmable money and artificial intelligence, and a workshop on building a trust layer for interoperable global finance. Microsoft, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, Clearstream and the International Finance Corporation are among the institutions involved in the conference’s broader discussions. Chainlink’s Ryan Lovell is also scheduled to discuss AI’s role in sustaining payment systems during extreme stress. The conference will feature more than 500 speakers across over 250 sessions. Chainlink has previously joined discussions with SWIFT and DTCC on corporate action processing and asset tokenization. Its Project Pangea consortium includes more than 50 banks pursuing T+0 atomic settlement for cross-border foreign exchange, a market processing more than $7 trillion daily. Chainlink says more than $340 billion in real-world assets are represented on-chain, while projections it cites put the tokenized asset market at $2 trillion to $4 trillion by 2030. Its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol is intended to link blockchains with legacy systems, while Chainlink oracles provide verified external data for financial applications.
