Republican national committees entered September with about $233.3 million in cash, roughly $103 million more than their Democratic counterparts, according to a CNBC analysis of new Federal Election Commission filings. President Trump's flagship super PAC, MAGA Inc., held another $415.8 million after raising $23.7 million and spending $11.4 million in August, leaving its balance more than $12 million above July's level. Trump has said he plans to deploy $400 million to $500 million to support Republicans, but MAGA Inc. has publicly disclosed only about $15 million in September spending so far, concentrated in Texas. Two newly formed Trump-linked super PACs, No Going Back PAC and Safety & Affordability PAC, had reserved at least $126 million in advertising and share MAGA Inc.'s treasurer and address. Republicans and their allies had about $888 million in advertising planned through Election Day, compared with roughly $666 million for Democrats, although Democrats held stronger cash positions in some individual battleground campaigns.
